Some men are born responsible, some men have responsibility thrust upon them. Henry John Edgar Thomas Pembrook, Prince of Wessco, just got the motherlode of all responsibility dumped in his regal lap.
He’s not handling it well.
Hoping to help her grandson to rise to the occasion, Queen Lenora agrees to give him "space"—but while the Queen’s away, the Prince will play. After a chance meeting with an American television producer, Henry finally makes a decision all on his own:
Welcome to Matched: Royal Edition.
A reality TV dating game show featuring twenty of the world's most beautiful blue bloods gathered in the same castle. Only one will win the diamond tiara, only one will capture the handsome prince’s heart.
While Henry revels in the sexy, raunchy antics of the contestants as they fight, literally, for his affection, it’s the quiet, bespectacled girl in the corner—with the voice of an angel and a body that would tempt a saint—who catches his eye.
The more Henry gets to know Sarah Mirabelle Zinnia Von Titebottum, the more enamored he becomes of her simple beauty, her strength, her kind spirit... and her naughty sense of humor.
But Rome wasn’t built in a day—and irresponsible royals aren’t reformed overnight.
As he endeavors to right his wrongs, old words take on whole new meanings for the dashing Prince. Words like, Duty, Honor and most of all—Love.

I’m bitten by the Royal bug! I can’t get enough of those Wessconian princes!
This time we get naughty, wild, hot mess Henry who, after his older brother’s abdication is next in line of the throne. Nobody really believes in him, not even he believes in himself.
If I’m supposed to be the Great Royal Hope for my country, we’re all well and truly fucked.
Thank God though there is Nicholas who thinks that Henry will make a stellar king. Before that though he is happy to add one more bad decision to his scoreboard. While his grandmother believes him to be alone in a castle, giving him “space” to acclimate in his new position, he accepts the offer to be part of a royal edition of a “The Bachelor” type of show. Hoping for a last hurrah before the reality of court life and politicking starts he’s disappointed that sex is off the menu for the duration of the filming.
Bookish and shy Lady Sarah von Titebuttom accompanies her sister Penelope who is one of the contestants vying for Prince Henry’s attention. She’d never thought that she, the quiet, socially awkward girl would draw Henry’s attention and win his affection. But Henry is everything she can’t have. And even if she could she wouldn’t want him, with him being a major player he is bound to break her heart. Right? RIGHT? If she JUST could stop thinking about the charming, larger-than-life, cheerful and cocky Henry.
“Corrupting the good ones is my favorite pastime.”
Oh yes, definitely a Willoughby. I hug my book to my chest. “I’m not corruptible.”
His smile broadens. “Good. I like a challenge.”
They become fast friends and soon Sarah becomes the most beautiful woman for Henry. I loved how Henry was knocked on his butt by his realization when he fell in love with the super-sweet, totally endearing Sarah.
I would give up a crown for her. I would give up my name, my title- I would trade my country, forfeit my birthright, lie, kill, cheat and steal for this. For her.
She is so good for him – the man who nobody takes seriously has fundamental things to say and she is always there to listen. I loved their harmony when they spent time together, when they chatted, or Sarah listened to Henry playing the guitar. They could have been totally normal people next door, being themselves, enjoying each other’s company. They were two puzzle pieces that matched perfectly – I loved them so much. Although Sarah never lacked courage she gains self confidence with Henry’s help and Henry in return matures into the man his country needs as the future king.
This is such a beautiful, swoon-worthy, humorous and romantic love story. It was pure perfection and there is not a single word out of place. I wish I could read this story again for the first time – Sarah and Henry captured my heart. Emma Chase writes perfect romance and I can’t get enough. So next up are Logan and Ellie!
I’ve never had someone who was just mine, body and soul—mine to protect and hold and love. And that’s what Sarah is . . . she belongs to me now. We belong to each other.
