Stacking The Shelves is hosted at Tynga’s Reviews and Reading Reality & The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted here @ Caffeinated Reviewer.
I have combined these two in a Weekly Wrap-up post because I’m a lazy butt.
BOOKS I BOUGHT
Welp. One-click addiction is a thing. I swear. There were so many sales this week that and I was a bad girl. Bad. #noshame
Some of those are still on sale in case you’re interested.
ARCS I RECEIVED
THE KISS QUOTIENT by HELEN HOANG
I received the paperback ARC from Berkley a while ago but since I hate to scribble notes on post-its and put them in books I was happy when I received the widget for the eARC of THE KISS QUOTIENT. I am so excited for this story and I hope I get around reading it soon!
MASTERS AND MERCENARIES by LEXI BLAKE
BOOK BUNDLE 1-5
I know I said I bought this book. I do that because I love supporting my favorite authors and it was only 99c. This series is a mix of Erotic Romance and Romantic Suspense. It has some BDSM themes but the sex part doesn’t overshadow the story which is exactly what I like about Lexi Blake’s stories.
I had a bit of a studying success, I actually understand the translation of the genetic code now. I love biology but you need a good basis of the whys and hows to see the bigger picture. Alas, a lot of profs at university don’t have the time to explain things in detail so a lot is DIY. Anyway, I’m excited about that little success.
The weather has been all over the place, temps have dropped again and we are back to snow and cold weather. Oh winter, how I loathe thee. I’m ready for spring.
It was a quiet week on the blog. I posted only one review and one meme.
- Hero by Lauren Rowe: I can’t say that I loved it but there were elements I liked. There were some…let’s say strange parts that ruined it a bit for me. It was still enjoyable enough though
- WWW – Wednesday [#2]
Yeah, not very exciting.
- I’m planning on starting up a new meme for Monday – Goodreads Monday.
- I’ll be posting my review for Lenora Bell’s What a Difference a Duke Makes, possibly on Sunday
- Review: I’m starting Katee Robert’s The Last King today – she is a new-to-me-author
- Review: The Dom Who Loved Me from Lexi Blake‘s Masters and Mercenaries
- Tentative – Review: I’ll possibly be able to read and review Kylie Scott’s Chaser
TOTALLY RANDOM
Let me know in the comments if I missed out on a sale!
When will you read them all Astrid???? Oh yes that’s right after your exams LOL

Thank you, hope you have a great week!
I’m glad the studying is going well. I hope you like your new books!
Thank you, AJ!
Ooh Caraval’s on sale! I should get that. And your new meme sounds fun!
I’m so over winter too. Ugh- need spring!
Right? Winter is on it’s way out and just when you think it’s gone it comes back screaming…
Have a great week!
Wow, that is a lot of books 🙂 can you imagine I only hauled 1 (again :D)… Well, but hauling a lot can be a good thing too 😀 you won’t run out soon!
Oh, I used to like biology too 🙂 only did that at school, but it was really cool.
Hope you have a great week!
Pffft, stop bragging lol
I hated it at school but started loving it when I saw how connected everything is. It’s a fascinating science.
Have a wonderful week, Evelina!
Look at all the pretties! I’d quite like to read WW Warbringer.
Have a good week!
It might still be on sale!
Have a great week too!
Yes, a lot of classes are DIY and you have to do the research yourself but it’s so worth it. Our weather is cold and damp with peaks of sun. Oh how I wish summer was here! Glad you has a bit of success. Have a great week.
Mary #SundayRoundup #10
Thank you! Yes, I don’t mind the DIY really, it helps to memorize it.
Have a lovely week!
Glad the studying is going well, and sometimes I think DIY studying sticks with you more. One-click addiction is a real thing! I one-click on Amazon and Audible on the daily. LOL Hope this week is amazing for you!
Thank you, I agree! It’s easier to memorize stuff you work out for yourself.
Gah, I bought some more today >.< At least I got an audiobook gifted for review...now I don't feel so bad LOL Have a wonderful week!
Yes, I “click” too many times on Amazon, although I am starting a new trend: Overdrive for library e-books. I only got one this week…and bought four others. But these changes take time.
Enjoy your books…and thanks for visiting my blog.
LOL yeah, it’s ridiculous, it’s not like I have time to read any of them. *sigh*
Thank you for visiting!
There were some great deals this week! I need to win the lotto so I can quit my job. It really cuts into my reading time! Hope you have a great week!
I agree. *off to buy a lottery ticket*
Hope your week is amazing!
Yeah I am really ready for spring as well especially since its been such a weird winter, we just get cold temps and hardly any snow ( i love the snow since I am a big skier, but if we don’t get much snow its not much fun) so I am so ready for warmer weather and I love spring. Great books you have here. I do love lexi blake, her mercenary series is fantastic.
I am curious about The Last King, I really do love Katee Robert, so hope you enjoy that one.
Have a great week.
Aaaaaah I love Lexi Blake. Her stories are addictive! I’m listening to the audiobook but I have to say I’m not entirely happy with the narrator when he does the female voice. So I’ll only review the story.
Gah, I ADORE The Last King. Beckett is a wonderful male lead and Samara a strong female.
Thanks, love. Have a wonderful week!
Your totally random totally has me in giggles, Astrid 😀 So funny!
You really went for the books this past week! I am in awe – your one-click-finger must have gotten quite a workout.
Have a wonderful week ahead and happy reading!
Yay 😀 Goal achieved! If I make one person laugh my day is made.
Yeah…I’m a little ashamed. Kind of. Nah, I’m not. LOL
You have a great week too!
I remember I had to do a lot of DIY too in school. The weather here is crazy as well and I look forward to warmer temps. I’m click happy too and I’m going to try to not do it after seeing all the goodies you got. LOL. Enjoy your week!
You know you want to check Amazon if they are still on sale *eyebrow wiggle*
Happy week to you too!
Please let me know if you love Caraval! I have it sitting on my shelf but haven’t read it yet!
I will, babe! Won’t be so soon though 🙁
I have a bit of a one-click addiction issue myself. It is so hard to pass up a good sale. I am happy to hear that your studying went well. I am with you in hoping spring gets here very quickly.
Yay *high five*
Have a great week, Carole!
